Royal Arms Cap Badge as worn by Officers of 16th West Riding Volunteers/2nd VB 1916 to 1919.

Information relating to which badges were worn by the VTC is scant. However, several photographs in the York and Lancaster regimental archive show that after 1916, Officers and Other Ranks of the 16th West Riding Volunteers (Rotherham) wore the Royal Arms cap badge.

OR's wore a gilding metal version with a slider, Officers wore a bronze version with blades, at least until 1918 when Officers wore the standard Tiger and Rose Officers Service Dress cap badge.
