Officers Waist Belt Clasp Hallamshire Rifle Volunteer Corps 1859 to 1883

This Officers sliver plated waist belt clasp is noticeably smaller than the usual waist belt clasp of the period.

The circlet has the words ‘Hallamshire Rifles’ on it and the centre of the clasp has a sheaf of arrows. The arrows are derived from the Coat of Arms of the City of Sheffield.
