NCO’s Glengarry Badge of the 1st (Hallamshire) Volunteer Battalion used between 1883 and 1902

A silver circlet surmounted by a Queen Victoria Crown, struck in one piece, with the words ‘1 Hallamshire VB York & Lancaster’ on the circlet. 

In the centre of the circlet is a Union Rose with a gilding metal centre.
